Elpex Team Carbon A.R.M. (Advanced Resin Matrix)

The latest rollerski development once again comes from Elpex

  • Not only the best classic rollerski on the market today but it is also by far the coolest!!
  • It is also the most expensive

Cost of this ski is about 2.5 X

the cost of an aluminum framed

 ski

  • If you train long hours and are looking for a roller ski that absorbs road vibration the additional cost is well worth it.

·         It eliminates muscle fatigue due to vibration…

This allows for higher quality training and/or longer sessions

  • The roller ski feels like skiing on snow

·         The synthetic composite frame has 7 mm of camber for optimum flex

  • Composite carbon A.R.M. frame

·         770 mm x 40 mm

  • Rubber wheels

·         Wheel speed Standard or Slow

  • Unparalleled skiing characteristics, especially in fast tempo uphill skiing

Training on Roller Skis

  • World Cup skiers will do as much as 50% of their dryland training on rollerskis
  • The split between skate and classic varies depending on individual strengths

·         40% to 60% classic skiing is common

  • Diagonal striding on roller skis will improve technique…when paying close attention to detail.

Elpex Team 610…the choice of the Canadian National Ski Team.

This is “THE” rollerski for classic and chosen by the Canadian National Ski Team. The Team 610’s special frame construction with flex helps to dampen road vibration. This ski feels like you are skiing on snow.

Three different wheel speeds are available for the Team 610.  They are: standard, slow, and extra slow (extra slow should be used for special training only). Since you can use different combinations of faster and slower wheels in front and back you can achieve a wide range of customization in your rollerski setup to suit your specific training needs.

Elpex Off Road

Off Road model is only for hard packed gravel roads, as the wheels are soft and too fast for asphalt. This ski is for classic skiing only.

Beginners may find rollerskiing off-road quite challenging. The uneven surface of the road can make one feel unstable.  Therefore it is recommended that you wear a solid pair of boots with good bindings.

Length: 825 mm
Weight/pair: 2.0 kg
Wheel width: 30 mm
