VAUHTI TOQUES are designed and made in Finland by professionals who themselves are skiers, runners and orienteerers.   National level athletes, who know the importance of a good toque/hat, have tested them.

The Vauhti toques and hats are made of the highest quality yarns such as acrylic and FinnWool/merino wool and modified polypropylene.  Synthetic materials are especially suitable for hard workouts and racing. Wool is warm and comfortable even when wet and work especially well in recreational and warm-up toques and in cold weather racing toques. The colours match with Future clothing and Sinisalo gloves.

RECREATIONAL, WARM UP AND AFTER SKI TOQUES:

Lappe

Lappe warm-up/”après ski” toques have a bit looser fit. The wool/acrylic toques have a very soft, “silky” feel to them. They are knitted of double yarn, making them thicker, very warm and comfortable. The polypropylene lining always feels dry and warm.

Very similar in knit to the Nordic.

50% wool/50% acrylic, lining polypropylene.

Nordic

Nordic warm-up/”après ski” toques have a bit looser fit. The wool/acrylic toques have a very soft, “silky” feel to them. They are knitted of double yarn, making them thicker, very warm and comfortable. The polypropylene lining always feels dry and warm. Very similar in knit to the Lappe.

50% wool/50% acrylic, lining polypropylene.

Colours: red, white, black, sand

Speed

Speed is a light and snug toque, which especially protects the ears on windy days. You can turn the brim/edge up to make the toque fit lower and snug, like a racing toque should.

Stripes

Stripes is a Finnish & Scandinavian type ski toque. Light, low cut, warm and very comfortable. It is knitted of wool-acrylic yarn and it has a very soft, “silky” feel. The modified polypropylene always lining feels dry and warm.

Windy

Windy is a light and snug toque, which protects also ears. You can turn the brim/edge up to make the toque a lower and snug cold weather racing toque. Breathable, windproof PROLINE laminated lining protects from cold and wind and regulates body temperature while letting perspiration evaporate. Polycolon polypropylene inner lining stays always dry and warm against forehead. (Excellent toque for skaters!)

Arctic  

Arctic is a very warm wool/acrylic toque. It has soft and comfortable polyester fleece lining for added warmth. It has looser “recreational” fit.

Pom-Pom

A comfortable after ski/”street” toque has a nice special design with two pom-poms. The outer shell is made of wool-acrylic yarn; the line is made of high quality cotton, which feels good against the skin. This toque has also a bit looser cut.
