Canada is perfectly suited to Nordic skiing. We have the climate, terrain and most importantly, an abundance of snow. Today, there are many excellent Nordic dedicated facilities from coast to coast, to coast; Hardwood Hills, Lappe Nordic, Canmore Nordic Centre and, the 2010 Olympic site at Callahan Valley, to mention a few. Canada is an emerging nation on the Nordic scene. We had more top ten places at the Vancouver Olympics than at any other and recently podium finishes, including a World Cup victory, at the 2011 Tour de Ski.
Canadian Wintersports Corp(CWS) has witnessed both the growth of Nordic skiing in Canada and has been part of its evolution.
